Intersection 03:42
Well That intersection you dreamed of exists Outside of time and space The circular depiction was simple But it’s all blown to hell now We threw a dart at a moving target Impossible to deploy Suppressed our natural instincts for nothing Wish I could start all over again And do it right this time You see what you want to (Talking Heads) You hear what you want to (Kate Bush) I remind you (Tori Amos) You don't realize (Joni Mitchell) I don’t do (Amanda Palmer) I'm none of those Let me be me Well Your inner essence we pulled it forward And sanded some of the edges You were stoked to reshape it and reach that Intersection in the sky It was torture through trial and error But finally we arrived Then he threw at it away it didn’t feel right Wish I could start all over again And do it right this time I don’t fit in anywhere (theatrical) No one can peg me down (classical) So be it (world, folk, Asian) If so then so be it (indie, progressive) Let me be me

No Greater 03:40
There’s no greater torture than deception There’s no greater sin than religion I’m burning in a hell of my own design Living a lie feels a lot like dying I’ve crossed a line ten thousand times I’m addicted to this torture and it’s killing me Down on my knees, crying in pain I’ve got to, got to, got to end it all I’m vulnerable, contemptible It festers unrelentlessly, it won’t resolve so easily The fantasy turns tragedy My inner shadow parasite, it laughs while eating me alive

Pansori 04:09
Yeobeoreo Naega oneul, Eomeonim kkae Deuri neun norae reul bu reu reu ryeon da Once upon a story, she Wasn’t born a boy, they Told her what she wasn’t But never said what she was Always on the move, her feet Floated like a dancer, they Told her how she couldn’t But never said how she could Play by the rules Dung geu shi myeo Get good grades Gureum hashin eomeoni Use your brain Oneuldo baeeopgo ship seum nida They told her what to want but never thought to ask her Shijipjangga bonaeshin nollaon eomeoni Da nam ni nyeo reul gilleushin eomeoni Gong ju sa beong nahwo Yeoreobo saeseo gareuchi shigo Bung jung yaebo Deu bandeu shyeotgo Ah nollaon eomeoni She played by the rules Dung geu shi myeo Went to college Gureum hashin eomeoni Got a desk job Oneuldo baeeopgo ship seum nida But it destroyed her soul and one day she decided Never mind the rules I’m gonna change the world Gonna clean it up, fix it up Breathe the air, be myself After all the rules I’m mighty insecure Trying this trying that Not sure where I’m at Now she has a family, her First born is a boy, she Helps him find his passions And shows him what he can be Always on the move her feet Take her everywhere, she Tells herself what she isn’t But never says what she is Now she has a daughter, I’d Love to be a dancer, she Helps me find my passions And shows me what I can be Always on the move her feet Take her everywhere, she Tells herself what she isn’t But I see who she is

Cosmic Mind 03:17
Taken by the basic photograph Cartwheels can you toss and turn I’m a victim of my pride Gotta stop that second tide You’re the target for my passions And all I ask of you is time Floating catch a dozen carpet rides Can’t help shouting out aloud She’s a feast of endless lies Carries on in perfect rhyme Wanna gag with fifty secrets And everybody tastes like wine Cosmic mind Won’t you be my temper tantrum I’m only Half in line The other part of me is leaning low Cosmic mind Doing fine but there’s no reason I’m only Half in line The other part of me won’t go Enter two dimensions higher Crave me simple makeshift crimes It’s a cancer in my mind Hurry up and drop that line It’s a million frantic marches And all I ask of you is time

Fantasy at daybreak I wake up right by the side of my One and only My dreams they escape me I pray someday we’re unbound by the Laws of reality City secrets Untouched they’re ours to find Moonlight picnics We dance through space and time The music sustains me Intoxicating I’m floating along I’m carefree Contented at midnight I drift off right by the side of my One and only

about

The title of the EP, “Pansori,” is inspired by its namesake - the ancient Korean art of rhythmic storytelling. Following that element of tradition, “Pansori” is a collection of five epic songs that explore the human experience. Driven piano sounds intertwine with innocent-seeming vocals to create what is a theatrical, edgy, and modern EP: Pansori. This Alt-Rock release incorporates a wide range of genres including psych, blues, metal, punk, ambient and even classical music, reminding listeners of Kate Bush, Tori Amos, and Amanda Palmer.
